![]() A party of level 20's may be able to kill it, but, not without serious casualties if at all. You need a player that is lvl 40 to kill it for you. Let's say you are a lvl 20 player and have a boss to fight. That happens far too often in RoM.Īnyone that has played a fantasy RPG knows that a boss battle should be challenging for a party. In addition, wait until you are battling a monster just to get the message "cannot see target" while you get pounded upon by it. When it's a boss that does this, it's worse because you are now unable to complete the quest if it drops a quest item. It's infuriating when you kill a monster just to watch it die in mid-air, thus, making the looting impossible. There is little synergy in the two-class system, period. You are either a knight or a rogue for stats and equipment. In addition, the normal hp gain you get from being a Knight does NOT transfer when you make the Rogue your primary class. Confused yet? Here is the basic breakdown:Ī knight is the only class that can use plate armor, so, as a Knight/Rogue, you'll outfit your Knight with plate and Rogue with leather armors. In addition, you get "elite" skills that are unique to each class combination and is dependent on which class is primary/secondary. Each class has general skills available when the class is put as secondary and primary skills for when it's your primary class. You basically get two separate classes that you must cycle between for leveling purposes. In many RPG's, a dual-class system works very well. It's frustrating to start a character and, after spending hours leveling, you find limitations that kill the gameplay entirely. The RoM website gives only basic descriptions and the RoM wiki is only slightly better. Let me tell you what you will find with Runes of Magic.ĭo you want to know what your chosen class can do? What classes are even available to the two races? Good luck. Start with free games and move later over to paid ones if you get the chance. With the huge selection of MMORPG's out there, it may be difficult to determine which one you want to play. Personal suggestions considering all factors:īlade and Soul, Path of Exile, Warframe, Smite, warhammer return of reckoning, ESO, GW2.ĭepending on what you like most, stick with that and no need for regrets, try out all of them or watch gameplay and decide, these are difficult times so people must stick together while at a distance. ![]() So yeah, their payment system is a bit weird but you got options. ![]() If you are looking for a game with the full experience for free, you wont find any that easily.ĮSO and GW2 are cheaper than WoW and offer more for what you pay for, alternatively GW2 is even more worth the buck than ESO but ESO feels more modern so it is up to you, both games are good for different reasons, GW2 is overall cheaper and Base Game is free, ESO is 10 bucks for base game but the content of the base game is already big enough (base game= original base game+morrowind+summerset currently), ESO to buy the entire collection will cost you over 160bucks while GW2 will cost you equally as much I think if you want to get the dlcs although dlcs, dlcs are not necessary but it depends on what you want to do in the game.įor ESO you can pay for ESO Plus and with around 1 year of subscription you can get everything dlc-related permanently unlocked OR you can use the subscription to do all the content of the dlc since this subscription allows you to play all dlc without buying it plus gives you premium currency for each month which you can do whatever with it OR you can invest it in permanently unlocking the DLC, although by that time you would have already finished with the dlc content I guess, each dlc can be around 15-20 hours of content and costs around 15 bucks if you buy it separately, there are dlc bundles too, there is a total of 20 dlcs currently, some smaller than others. I would say do not play that game if you dont feel like it, mmorpgs are very steep generally speaking, they do not offer any sort of an enjoyable experience for what you will be paying for and for you understandably even 10 bucks are a lot I imagine, so I suggest you either play ESO if you can find it on sale for 10 bucks or try something more on the gray zone such as warhammer return of reckoning. ![]()
